1. Definitions
To ensure clarity, the following terms are defined as follows:
- Agreement – This document, including these Terms and Conditions, the accepted Registration Form, and any additional course-related documentation issued by Nurse Ed 101, LLC.
- Attendee (Student) – The individual listed by the Customer on the Registration Form.
- Company – Nurse Ed 101, LLC, based in Lakeland, Florida 33812.
- Course – The training program outlined in the Company’s Course Prospectus.
- Course Fee – The cost of the Course as detailed in the Course Prospectus.
- Course Prospectus – A document describing the Course, its content, and schedule.
- Customer – The individual or organization registering an Attendee for the Course.
- Registration Form – The official form completed by the Customer for course enrollment.
2. Course Registration and Payment
2.1 Registration Requirements
To attend a course, students must:
- Complete and sign the Registration Form before enrollment is confirmed.
- Submit the completed Registration Form via email to info@NurseEd101.com.
- Pay the registration fee through the Company’s website (NurseEd101.com), via invoice, or through a third-party financing vendor such as Affirm.
2.2 Course Fee
It is important to note that:
- Payment must be made before the Course begins.
- The Course Fee covers all necessary documentation specified in the Course registration materials.
- If a Course is held at a Customer’s location, additional travel and accommodation expenses for instructors may apply.
3. Payment Policies
3.1 Course Payment Options
To accommodate various financial situations, the Company offers the following payment options:
- Full Course Fee payment upfront.
- Third-party financing through Affirm.
- In-house installment payment plans.
Regardless of the chosen method, installment payments must be made on time according to the agreement in the syllabus or student commitment form.
3.2 Late Payments
If a payment is not received on time:
- A 20% late fee will be applied to the overdue amount.
- Students may be suspended from the Course or denied participation in clinical rotations.
3.3 Missed Assignment Deadlines
For students who fail to submit coursework by the deadline:
- A 10% administrative fee will be added to the outstanding balance.
- This fee must be paid before the final letter of completion is issued to the Florida or Hawaii Board of Nursing.
- If a student needs to update their payment method, they must do so at least 24 hours before the due date.
4. Clinical Rotation & Rescheduling Policy
4.1 Required Documentation
All students must submit the required clinical documentation by the stated deadline. Since these deadlines are dictated by affiliated facilities, Nurse Ed 101 cannot modify them.
4.2 Rescheduling Fees
If a student misses the deadline for clinical documentation submission:
- A $400 rescheduling fee will apply.
- Payment must be made in full before rescheduling is confirmed.
- Placement in future clinical rotations is not guaranteed and is subject to availability.
5. Cancellation, Refund, and Course Completion Policies
5.1 Refund Policy
All fees are non-refundable, except in the following cases:
- A student cancels their registration in writing at least 30 days before the Course start date.
- If the required notice is not provided, the full Course Fee remains due.
5.2 Course Completion & Extensions
For students requiring additional time to complete coursework:
- A $300 (RN) / $300 (LPN) administrative fee must be paid.
- Students will receive a 30-day extension upon payment.
- Failure to meet the extended deadline will result in an “Incomplete” status, requiring re-registration and full course repayment.
5.3 Extended Course Duration
It is essential to complete the Course within six months of the start date. Otherwise:
- The option for reinstatement will no longer be available.
- Students must re-register for a future session and pay the full Course Fee.
6. Collections and Payment Defaults
6.1 Unpaid Balances
To avoid financial penalties, students should ensure payments are made on time. Otherwise:
- Unpaid balances may be referred to a collection agency.
- The student is responsible for all associated fees, including legal costs.
6.2 Credit Impact
Failure to fulfill payment obligations may negatively impact the student’s credit history.
6.3 Course Suspension
If a student is 30 days past due, their account will be sent to collections, and course access will be suspended.
7. ACLS, BLS, CPR, AED, First Aid Course Policies
- All registrations are final and non-refundable.
- Rescheduling requests made 7+ business days before the Course start date will incur a $50 fee.
- Requests made less than 7 business days before the Course will result in a 50% course fee charge.
- No-shows and cancellations within 24 hours will forfeit all course fees.
8. Course Cancellations and Changes
- The Company reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses.
- In case of cancellation, students can request a refund or reschedule at no extra cost.
- Nurse Ed 101 is not responsible for expenses incurred due to course changes.
9. Special Accommodations
- Students requiring accommodations must submit requests in advance.
- The Company will make reasonable efforts to fulfill these requests.
10. Copyright and Intellectual Property
- All course materials are the property of Nurse Ed 101.
- Reproduction or distribution of course content without permission is prohibited.
11. Student Support for Those in Good Standing
11.1 Eligibility for Support
To qualify for student support services, students must:
- Maintain professional and respectful behavior.
- Stay current on financial obligations.
- Adhere to the Company’s academic and behavioral standards.
11.2 Available Support
Students in good standing may access:
- Academic Counseling – Personalized course guidance.
- Tutoring Services – Available for $50 per hour.
- Special Accommodations – For students with documented disabilities.
12. Student Accountability and Integrity
Nurse Ed 101 maintains a high standard of academic and professional integrity. Prohibited actions include:
- Plagiarism – Using another person’s work without citation.
- Untruthfulness – Providing false information.
- Harassment – Creating a hostile learning environment.
12.1 Consequences
Violating these policies may result in:
- Point deductions or failing grades.
- Course dismissal.
- Reports to regulatory bodies (e.g., Board of Nursing).
13. Privacy and Confidentiality
13.1 Data Protection
- Student data is securely stored and protected.
13.2 Information Disclosure
- Student records may be shared with regulatory bodies as required by law.
13.3 Communication Preferences
- By enrolling, students agree to receive text message updates regarding their course.
